One collection. One big idea.
A personal collection of monster trucks became the start of something bigger.
About 300 trucks
It snowballed from there.
Christopher “Chris” Atkinson wanted to downsize his personal collection of approximately 300 monster-truck toys. Most had been maintained in like-new condition, with a small number still new and unopened.
While researching ways to part with them, Chris thought about donating the trucks to hospitals for children. In just over a month, that simple idea grew into Monster Trucks for Smiles.
A new beginning.
What began as one collection is now a mission: giving each truck a second life and putting smiles on children’s faces through participating hospitals, children’s organizations, and family-support programs.
